The net, just like the media is filled with the same mundane musical garbage day in and day out. I figured that since I can’t find more than a few decent music and mp3 blogs online, that I’d create one of my own. I am multi eargasmic, so expect Indie, Trip Hop, Grindcore, Emo, Hip Hop, Pop, Metal, Reggae, Experimental, Punk, Folk or any genre that’s still undefined! That having been said, I urge all artists to with interview requests, mp3 singles that I can post, tour dates or any juicy gossip that you should probably keep to yourself. Now…On to the music!

Matt Skiba's Side Project Heavens Releases Debut Album
 On September 12th, Heavens is coming out with their full length debut CD from Epitaph Records called Patent Pending. If you're unfamiliar with these guys, they are Josiah Steinbrick from Matches Stark and Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio. Yes...Just like every rocker's side project these days, they are a band of 2 on a mission to change the face of rock music, 1 depressed teen/twenty-something at a time!You may be expecting Matt Skiba to follow the Alkaline Trio's blueprint of Ramones/Misfits'ish sounds, but you are in for a surprise. These guys use pop experimentalism for the mellow soundscaped and Skiba drops comfortable into his lower register, evoking memories of Sisters Of Mercy. If you feel like sitting back on a rainy day in a candlelit room, this is definitely the soundtrack for you. Ben Lovett was at the production helm at his at his Sunny Heights Studio in LA, and you can hear the finished product right now exclusively at Heavens' Myspace Page.
