Daily Eargasm Music Blog
Daily Eargasm Home

The net, just like the media is filled with the same mundane musical garbage day in and day out. I figured that since I can’t find more than a few decent music and mp3 blogs online, that I’d create one of my own. I am multi eargasmic, so expect Indie, Trip Hop, Grindcore, Emo, Hip Hop, Pop, Metal, Reggae, Experimental, Punk, Folk or any genre that’s still undefined! That having been said, I urge all artists to with interview requests, mp3 singles that I can post, tour dates or any juicy gossip that you should probably keep to yourself. Now…On to the music!

New Track By The A.K.As, Gnarls' New Vid And Jet

Fresh from the hottest Indie label in the land, The A.K.As have added a new song to their Myspace page. The song is called Confessions Of A Dangerous Mouth and it sounds like a track that'd come from the Ramones with Jello Biafra taking the lead and Toni Basil leading the melody with a wicked line on the keys. Unfortunately the track isn't available for download, but you can still stream it from your bookshelf speakers while dancing around like a spastic cockroach.

The eccentric duo of Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo (aka Gnarls Barkley) are releasing a new video next week. The video is for Gone Daddy Gone, and doesn't feature Cee-Lo jumping around in a giant male diaper with a binkey. The video was directed by Chris Milk, who directed the Kanye West / Evil Knievel video (with Pamela Anderson). The Gone Daddy Gone video is supposedly "insanely good" according to the duo, but every band thinks their product is the next big thing.

MTV & MTV2 will premiere it on Friday, September 29th as part of their Spankin New Music Week (MTV2). It will premiere on MySpace on September 30th. VH1 and FUSE will begin airing the following Monday, 10/2

One last bit of news for you lovers of major label garage rock (is there such thing?): If you are in Chicago and are curious as to see what Jet have been up to since they debuted a few years back with a shitload of "The" bands, you can see them for free in Chicago. The info is as follows:
